LEAP knows that families and communities have an important role in contributing to and supporting arts education in schools. Every child should be given equal access to an excellent education in the arts, and so should every family whose child attends a NYC school. LEAP’s Family Engagement Workshops are conducted both in single-session and extended-series formats. The workshops are tailored to the needs of the school and the school’s population. These arts-based workshops can be conducted solely for caregivers or for caregivers and children together.
