Educational Arts Programs
Arts Residencies
LEAP's arts-based residencies expand creative thinking and support positive behavior through student-centered art making and social skill-building activities integrated into classroom academics. We co-teach with classroom teachers and empower them to use the arts in their everyday classrooms. Learn more by clicking here, and see some of our programs in action below.
Our afterschool programs offer sustained participation in particular disciplines–including dance, theater, visual arts and others–that culminate in group performances, projects, and public events, while continuing to build learning and innovation skills. We address community issues through artistic expression, collaboratively produce arts performances, and so much more. Click here to learn more, and see some of our programs in action below.

Virtual Art Rooms
When NYC schools closed in March due to the COVID-19 pandemic, LEAP acted immediately by developing Virtual Art Rooms that bring joy, creativity, and mindfulness into the homes of NYC children. LEAP's programs support social and emotional development and guide kids through song, dance, visual art, and movement activities.
